FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

I provide each client with the ENTIRE gallery minus any duplicate photos or ones that may not be sharp enough for my liking.

How should we dress for our session?

Anything you are comfortable in. I want you to feel like yourself! I personally like neutral colors because it makes for a clean and creamy edit, but it is entirely up to you.

What is the best time for photos?

The lighting is optimal an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. I do not prefer to do pictures between 10:00am - 5:00pm unless it is a cloudy day. During that time, the sun is directly above us, so many unwanted shadows get cast on your face and clothes. Harsh sun also causes squinting and overexposed skin times. That time of day just doesn't make for a seamless photo gallery.

How long with it take to receive my photos?

I know how it is to be super excited about seeing the results of the session and being eager to share them with friends and family. I do not rush through my editing process and am very detailed with my work. For normal sessions, I will get your edited photos to you within a week or so of your session. I will also send sneak peeks as I am editing. For wedding galleries, I edit by the timeline and deliver each section as I am finished. It will take at least a month to recieve the entire gallery.

What if it rains on our session date?

If the weather is calling for rain, I always recommend waiting out until closer to your session time to make a descision. In my experience, the weather has changed and it doen't even rain or the rain stops by the time of the session. But nonetheless you nor I have any control over the weather, so if it happens to rain on the date of your scheduled session, we can reschedule free of charge.

Will I receive black & white photos?

Yes, I pick and choose which photos I think would look best in black and white. Usually intimate moments, candids, and details look so timeless in black and white. If I can't decide, then you will get both a color edit and black and white edit on the photo.
